Kristjan arrives in Cusco — the ancient capital of the Inca Empire — while Teet celebrates New Year’s Eve in Quito. It’s a double dose of fireworks and festivities, but the new year takes a dark turn for Teet when, on January 1st, his team’s camera is stolen…

Teet takes a train ride in Ecuador over the infamous Devil’s Nose. Everything goes smoothly until the train derails... Kristjan tries guinea pig at a traditional dinner — an animal that, in our culture, is just a cute pet, not a tasty meal. Kristjan finally reaches the long-awaited Machu Picchu, while Teet visits a Panama hat factory.

Teet teaches the locals the Estonian folk dance "Kaerajaan" in Ecuador and learns to dance salsa himself. Meanwhile, Kristjan goes on a city tour in Lima, the capital of Peru, and Teet speeds through the Peruvian city of Piura in a Daewoo Tico.

Teet flies over Peru’s famous Nazca Lines. Kristjan leaves Peru and enters Bolivia through an unusual border crossing. Teet begins one of his most anticipated hikes — the four-day Inca Trail.
